TACIE JONES

Adult Creative Education was a program of LoCo Arts 501c3, cofounded and facilitated by Tacie Jones in the New River Valley from 2012-2018. This program took place between 2013-17 within a studio classroom dedicated to LoCo Arts project in the Newport Community Center in Giles County, VA. 

 

Taught by diverse teaching artist instructors from the New River Valley region, courses and workshops for adult learners included Stained Glass, Drawing I & II, Painting, Eco-Arts, Soul Collage, Book Arts: Simple Sewn Bindings, Making Dances, Creative Writing I & II, and The Yoga of Nature.
