Cherub Mount is a relief sculpture woven from torn strips of worn-out petticoats and nightgowns. The figure confronts our gaze through the juxtaposition of scale and bodily condition, a small, feminized bust with an expectant belly on a cherub-like body. The content, materials and process work through gendered expectations from an early age of life.
